    Massarati v8 quad cam all alloy...quad webers.
    Was told it was pulled from a crashed car in the late 70,s..
    has been in storage quite a awhile.
    I have the bores soaking so may free up.
    It Is stuck now..wont turn over.
    Very unique,great for a rod or a old timber boat.
    Has the airbox...Th 400/700 will bolt up to it so I have been informed.
    Can pallatise and strap down for courier .
    I have an engine crane here for lifting into a ute or truck.

    That would make simultaneously one very cool and one very expensive coffee table. I'm curious about the small-block Chevy sitting next to it.....

    Scrap dealer, he's got an aluminium bench beside it. Like the "respect" of putting the engineered treasure on the floor but plonking the mouse on a pallet.

    Ideal recipient if it's salvageable would be a 504 cabrio.

    If it is located down under it surely does rotate the wrong way.

    Too many spark plugs to fit in an SM Shane. Too long !

    Fit it into your Range Rover instead.

    Being a V8 it will be only 4 cylinders long...perfect home would be the front of the mighty CX Turbo.

    Actually.... I need to find the email address for the guy in ballarat with the Maserati Khamsin .... It's had a small block chev fitted in the past ... he'll probably love to put the "right" engine back in there.

    Looks like it's from a Bora and if so, then it would've been once mated to a 5 speed ZF manual box and not the Citroen SM/DS one which the Merak has.
