    Default Citroen lease question

Those who've done it before can you please let me know the answer - I forgot to ask when I arranged drop-off whether I'm supposed to return it with a full fuel tank or not?

from my somewhat hazy memory I don't think it matters. We had to find a servo on pick-up because there was just enough in the tank for delivery.

    I've never had to.

Considering it comes with about 2.3 litres to begin with, I think it would be a bit rude.

bruce H - When enquiring about euro car hire recently, gerryfreed kindly provided me a link to autoescape.com

When walking the dog this evening I relayed to my partner the very succinct 'Full to Full' fuel policy arrangement at autoescape.

While I have no idea what car arrangement you have opted for, I provide a screen dump for either your entertainment or assistance:

No. Return it as empty as you dare. These days you must return it with the inside of the car clean. I gave ours a vacuum the day before. The outside was grimey but that didn't matter.

I think some have returned cars with the inside looking like a food fight has occurred.

    Thanks all.
Unless all calculations are wrong I should get to Amsterdam with about a quarter of a tank. I washed and vacuumed it a week ago when I had access to a machine, will attend to inside clean today. Outside is grimy, courtesy of rain and muddy roads in Normandy. 1 day to go, so off to Amsterdam and Citromobile.

When I returned the C4 to Citroen at CDG airport in 2013,the fuel gauge was showing empty. They didn't even bother checking it. All he did was check kilometres and have a quick walk around it. It was very clean though as there is a car wash down the road from CDG.
When we returned the car it took no more than five minutes to organise everything. Great service. Great system.

Spotted around a half dozen UK registered cars in the car park, and heard a few poms but didn't speak with any of them.
All sorts of NOS panels there I would have liked to have bought if only it was easier to get them home. As it was, all I scored was a new locking petrol cap and some door seals for the GS, nothing for the Xantias or the DS3.
Just a tiny bit of what was there.

my last time was 2010 - I dropped it off in Barcelona
the guy appeared happy just to have the car back, didn't check the body for dings - there weren't any - and was utterly unconcerned with the interior
I'm doing it again in about 6 weeks, so I'll be happy to have such an easy handover again

Did he not complain that it smelt of Roquefort?

That was the C3 Picasso you had wasn't it? We unknowingly crossed paths at Viaduct Millau (sp?)

The clean interior rule was one foisted on us at collection in Paris last year. An A4 sheet.
