    Default D Special headlights

    Hello

I was preparing the car for a weekend trip tonight and the cross-cable connecting the two inner turning headlights broke. I'll get it replaced/repaired, but in the meantime is it ok to leave the headlights swiveling "free" (I won't be using them, obviously) or do they need to be fixed in position to prevent any possible damage? If the latter, is there an obvious way of doing this?

Damage not very likely, but, depending on where it broke, it should be relatively easy to fix temporarily, shouldn't it?
If you can bend the two ends of the wire... even a shoelace will do it

Thanks. Yes, of course. Just that it is getting late, I have a millions things to do and I need to leave before 5am tomorrow! Have attended to it with a temporary (shoelace) fix...

    Hello

Can anybody advise the specs on the cable (DX541-142) and where/how I would obtain a new one or repair? I don't see them listed on any of the parts websites, although I assume there must be a straightforward fix available locally (marine shop etc), that could cut to size with the appropriate plugs on the ends...(?)

Left and right cables complete with fittings and tubing, Marco is great to deal with and postage is not too bad.

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.
