Default Citroen DS Safari wanted....Single headlight wagon swap for 23 5 spd wagon

I have a June 1974 build DS23 5 speed Safari that I would like to swap for a earlier single nose safari...
I prefer to have a early Safari and am willing to swap my DS23 5 speed Safari plus cash...
I do not wish to sell my Safari...only want to swap for another earlier model....
if interested to know more please pm me for photo's etc....
    cheers

It's not about the power...it's the 60's ambience whilst being wafted along that I prefer...
I have the jeep(& C5 estate when it's fixed) for Market...the Safari will be club reg'd and used for leisure...surf trips etc

    It's a 5 speed manual...not too many Safari's with a 5 speed...most having a 4 speed manual box...
door cards and seats are in nice order but carpets are looking a bit tired

it's an interesting mix ... red on the outside white on the inside. The seats do look nice. I wonder who retrimmed them It appears they got the shape and fit quite good. The red and white colour scheme looks way better than the usual beige/grey.

I reckon those carpets would look great if they were given a good clean and re-dyed.

a '74 build would have to be the last of them A 2300 5spd It would be easier car to live with than an early ID Weren't all the last of them 2300 5spds? A DX4 is 2300 carby I think... DX5 being 2300 injected.

It's strange because the rear seats look straight from factory and being safari type they couldn't be lifted from another D? front seats could be from any D yet trim is all the same...
The bulkhead is a hard shape to carpet & this one looks factory and the sill carpets have the securing strips??
If not factory then a very good job whoever did it..
I have known this car and it's last 2 owners for about 18 yrs ...think it was resprayed the red...engine was recently rebuilt and purrs
A very nice car to drive every day but I only want to potter around at best once a week if that...hence wanting a 60's Safari
I'm living in the country so non assisted steering doesn't faze...feels more direct on the open road IMHO
and yes...it is a carby job
oh..& if a 60's one doesn't come along then I'm still happy driving this one!!
