Default Sad day for Tim and Kathy

    Dear Froggers,

I want to share with you all that it is my family that has been struck (in Australia) by the French plane crash today. We have lost Kathy's beloved Aunty (Carol) and beloved Cousin (Greig). We are devastated. They are more like immediate family to us, and we have lived much of our married lives together as a big extended familyÖGrieg loved my french penchant for cars. Some of you have met Dave (Husband and Father to Carol and Grieg), and as I frequent here a bit, I wanted to share. They were remarkable, humanitarian and strongly community minded people. Take care in everything you do and look after loved ones. One never knows what the future holds.

    Best wishes,

    Tim

    Mere words can't express, Tim.

My thoughts are with all those who lost loved ones in this unusual accident. I wish all success to the investigators to find the cause and to prevent it happening again to others.

One sees the reports of events like this but they often seem so distant. Tim's post brings the echo of the impact on the affected families into much closer view.

Talking about things like this openly and in a supportive manner is very important in coping and recovery. It is a good thing that you felt Tim that you wished to share this with us here - and that the response here has been as it has.
