    Default Travelling to Cit-In?

Who's driving south from QLD or NSW to attend Cit-In Nurioopta 3-6/04? Getting the 1974 DS23 Pallas ready to attempt the three day road-trip leaving NSW south coast Tues 31/03.

Travelling overnight MEL-ADL on the 28th,
Any thoughts on a "Emergency Repair Kit" for the DS - what should I take?
    Cheers,
    Rob

    Hi Rob
Here's what we're packing for the DS (list growing) - motor oil, LHM oil, coolant, WD40, wheel-brace, stand, manual, ground sheet, petrol tin, fire extinguisher, hi-vis vest, jack, jumper leads, light, torch, Stanley blade, pliers, spanners size 7-14, socket set, hammer, wire, clamps, spare hydraulic hose, clutch cable, shifter, screwdrivers, silicone, polish, chamois, rags, soap, NRMA membership
    Cheers, Greta & Geoff

Thanks, that does help me. I'll probably bring the jump starter rather than leads and gloves hand cleaner/scrubbing brush.
I don't have any spare Hydraulic hose so might ask pirtek what they would recommend as an emergency kit.
And a hammer? Maybe a sledgehammer.
Cheers, and I hope everyone has an uneventful journey.

Sounds like you'll have sufficient. Don't forget mobile phone charger.

C&L are heading west around the same time as you only of course from Gerringong. Look out for them in their black series 2 C5.

Deb and I (and Luis!) are going the long way via Dubbo to catch up with family and arrive Nuri on Thurs 2nd

    You could add:
    Rubber gloves.
Posidriv screwdriver bits? There are very few Philips heads on the DS.
    Cable ties.
Couple of spade and round terminals, electrical tape.
    Rotor, cap and points.
    Some pipe seals.
Make sure you have a 9mm spanner for most of the pipe nipples.
If you have a spare bellcrank for the clutch, put that in as it's just as likely to let go as the cable.
    Fuses.
Spare keys located somewhere on the chassis just in case.

Well, if you don't have rope and a shovel, what do you need duct tape for?

Are D's like Tractions and don't have fuses. Didn't see any mentioned.

    Cheers.
