Default Installed the 123 in the D

Apart from the fact that I had to knock out the pin so I could get the cap facing the right way, the installation has been flawless and simple. The car seems smoother and maybe a bit more powerful.

When I put in the pin through the bellhousing to get TDC the scale read approx 1.5 deg btdc and so I timed it with a light to 7.5 deg at 2000rpm. Took it for quick 10k run on the freeway getting up to 115k.
On two occasions it seemed to go dead (lose power) for half a second then spring back to life - any ideas what that could be?
    Thanks,
    Rob

    Hi Rob,

You MUST install a ground wire from the body of the 123 back to the neg terminal on the battery. They are very sensitive to a less than perfect ground...

    Cheers,

    Mark....
