    Default Torques (D models)

    A bit far-fetched I guess, but...
does anyone know of any text where you can quickly find the most common tightening torques for a D model Citroen?

The 814 searchable pdf is indeed very valuable, but... not that easily searchable.

Just go to the relevant part of the 814 and read about the whole operation. You will find the tightening torques and you will learn stuff.

If you really want a quick and dirty version, try the Peter Russek manual.

    Well,
    I made one myself.

The bad news is, it's not all that useful.
Tightening torques are given only for "important" stuff for which, as Roger rightly says, one might as well read the fine manual.

The good news is that it was relatively easy.
All I had to do was to

    Code:
    pdftotext 814-1-searchable.pdf 814.txt
    and then

    Code:
    grep -n -A 1 -B 2 mkg 814.txt >mkg.txt
Bit of editing, and the file, if anyone's interested, is here.
