    Icon11 Malevolent 16v bx

Recomissioning the 16v from hibernation this week has caused so much pain and suffering
First it tried to sever my index finger as I fixed a dodgy earth to the thermo fans resulting in 15 stitches
Then loan the car to a sad Alfa owner whose sele speed gearbox had imploded and the gear linkage on the valver Falls of. Great fixing these linkages under the car with a taped and mangled finger
    Bloody citroens

I'd say that after the lacerations it was more a case of bloody you! The Citroen was not at fault! Remove the negative lead before commencing electrical work, particularly around fans!

It was that last unthinking rearrangement of wires to avoid their contact with the fan .The direction of rotation actually pulled the offending digit into the blades breaking 3 of them of I was very disappointed in my stupidity in damaging the fan .
I have now noticed that the control bezels on the cx are stratigicaly placed as to snag a strapped index finger as you drive every corner brings a tear to my eyes

Remember, prior to all of this, the French had successfully invented and perfected the guillotine. This stuff is small bikkies to them.

With the state of my finger I doubt that any dyke would be interested
