Default Cibie driving lights on Ebay

There is a pair of S/H Cibie driving lights on Oz Ebay under a Porsche 911 listing. Yours for a starting bid of just $2000. Should we tell him he's dreaming?

Can we start the bidding at $1?
DS23 Pallas BVM Vert Argente - in ground up restoration, soon to be BVH.
DSpecial 4speed Beige Vanneau, previous ; XM 2.0, maroon, my first.
And a variety of the usual crapboxes before seeing the light. Except my Mini Cooper with the 3.4 cam and twin webers - that wasn't a POS.

    Bikes -
    Ducati GTS860, CB350, XT550, Z500, T250, XR200, ag90.

I have a pair of Cibie Super Oscars, as they a bigger, perhaps I should ask for $4,000.00
Although I must admit they were never on a Porche, but started life on a 1600 Datsun with 1800SSS heart.

Yeah, go for it. If you sell I also have a pair of Super Oscars (new), that we might find a loony buyer.

There's a mob in Hervey Bay that converts CSO to HID. They sell them for $600, not sure how much if one supplies the CSO for the conversion. New HDI CSO are $750 of fleabay. I don't do as much interstate driving as I used to, so hard to justify the cost of HDI.

I haven't even bothered to look Roger, is that the dude in Cypress? He has some neat stuff, but 2K for a set of driving lamps that aren't particularly rare is a bit on the high side.
The measure of your character isn't what you do when people are watching- it's what you do when they aren't watching.
