    Default X7 C5 Intermittent faults

    Morning Guys

I just wanted some guidance if possible to fix an intermittent fault or faults, on a cold morning I had headed down the road for a short distance of maybe 200 metres when all the alarms going off & the engine shutting down, pullover & remove the key for 3 mins then start up again without problems, also when I have turned off the engine & gotten out of the car there is a coughing sound coming from the rear brakes with an accasional park brake failure.
The codes that the ECU throes up are C1552: Temporary fault force sensor coherance & P0215 no description.

Can anybody throw any light on what could be the problem??

Below is a generic explanation for the P0215 from DATSC:

    Engine Shutoff Solenoid
    What does this mean?
    OBD Code P0215refers to
Information for when fuel injection pump control circuit is monitored and conditions required for DTC to be stored are not available.
    Symptoms
Possible sumptoms of OBD code P0215
    - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
    Causes
Possible causes of OBD code P0215
    - Defective fuel pump relay - Defective Engine - Control Module (ECM) or defective connectors or wiring

So perhaps there are some connections playing up for the fuel tank lift pump.

The C1552 sounds like it is assocaited with the handbrake. Lets just hope if goes away.

    Good Luck,

    Ken W

    Thanks Ken W

I have had all the connectors pulled out & cleaned then replaced so lets see if it happens again, & the brakes continue to cough.

    FYI

The diagnosis of the fault/faults by Citroen dealer here in Adelaide is that the engine bay fuse box is faulty & required to be replaced, cost $585.00

    Cheers
