Default Gs brake caliper seal kit in Melbourne.

    Hi legends,

I'm in a bit of a hurry to get some gs 1220 brake caliper seals, I only need one side but will purchase a full set if required.

    Thanks,

    Harley

Harley - if my memory serves me correctly, was at French Connection recently and they had a packet of GS brake caliper seals (about 6) but not the smaller seals.

Front or rear caliper? I assume they are different.
Do you know the part numbers and/or dimensions of the seal needed?
Should be in the parts list, which I don't have.

Hi. I have 2 NOS Citroen 'joint's part no. 5 435 906 in original packaging, which I was told are for GS calipers. I don't know if for front or rear. They are about 50 0r 51mm O D.

Hi Don+Harley, according to the GS parts manual, this part 9 435 906 is a dust proofing seal for the front brakes. There is an inner seal 5 435 950 that is the actual seal. It is slightly smaller. Please see page from manual below.

I imagine a seals kit would have both.

Thanks, Leconte. So these bits are not what you need. If they are of any use to you I am happy to post them.
