I can see why there is only 3 (not 4) photos of the car as the passengers front wing has some damage. That said, for that price it is a worthwhile buy if someone wants to build up a really good car. It is unregistered so it is either a private import that has never been registered (in which case you need the import papers) or it has been registered but the rego has lapsed. If it has lapsed for more than a few years, then it will have to be blue slipped and you will run into ADR issues.

A car like this can be completely refurbished. Completely strip the car. Decide if the chassis needs replacement or repair. Get a later gearbox with disc brakes (renew all the braking to run on LHM rather than DOT3, new pipes, master cylinder, slave cylinders in rear, etc). Strip the suspension renewing/regreasing bearings. Repaint all components. Overhaul engine. Remove all rust from bodywork. Probably refurbish seats (new rubbers, upholstery). Maybe a new hood. Maybe a complete respray of the body.

If you brought a car like that up to immaculate condition, you could probably get close to 20K. If you got it registered and painted the passengers front wing it would be worth about 14K. Either way, there is incentive to get it running and registered.

I don't mind the battered look. If the chassis wasn't sound, I'd replace that and drive it looking like it does Some @sshole would just bend it the first time I parked it in a carpark if I got it looking all pretty (well as pretty as a 2cv ever could be )

The "Numatic Suspension" is a great improvement on the "Oldmatic Suspension" I understand.

I agree with John. A steal.

Completely do able in terms of a restoration.

Could come up like new for not mega dollars.

If I could store would snap up.
