    Default No shed ??

How good is this.... Imagine your one of those poor bastards that live in a ( **** SHUDDER ***** ) unit or townhouse and only have a bit of room big enough to park a car if your lucky.

    Excellent!

I have plans in my head for a similar idea, but that mounts on roof racks and goes with the car.

I should have a complete design for that somewhere in my Popular Mechanics book set (yeah nerdie I know), havent seen it for decades but will try and dig it out for those who may be interested.

    Personally I think it's a ripper idea.

Agree totally. Car covers have their good points, until you have to remove them wet.....

have you ever woken up in a tent in full sunshine? bloody hot. Good for winter but would make the car too hot in summer.
It could be easily fixed though with some roll up vents also like a tent.

The vents can be 'automatic' they just need to be small lightweight flaps and the car tent has poor ground sealing so it thermo syphons....or have it in any colour white you like. Then if all else fails I'd go with deese's idea but as I'm a lazy [email protected] use Velcro tabs to hold open or closed.

Google "carcoon" brilliant idea, have not bought one yet but probably will soonish. The workshops are really neat too although a bit pricey, portable disassemble able paint spray booth!!
