    Default Citroen Scents

Does anyone happen to know where I can get those scent cartridges theta slot in next to the air con on the C4 and I assume other models. Only place I've found so far has been UK based but would love to find a local.

We keep meaning to try taking the existing one out of Mrs UFO's C4, put some lavender oil on the wick part and put it back in the car. We are also going to get some round tuits...

If you want brand new ones, then your local CitroŽn dealer should be able to help (however they won't be cheap). I purchased some a while back from McCarroll's CitroŽn here in Sydney. Assuming the shipping doesn't ruin it, I'd dare say that getting them from the UK is going to be the cheapest option for sourcing brand new original refills. Just make sure you get the right ones as there are a few different designs.

I top mine up with a liquid freshner and seems to be just as effective.
The cartridge can be pulled apart easy enough to expose the felt strip inside, then I just add some liquid to the felt strip with some liquid
scent that I've purchased from the supermarket. Seems to work ok

If you've come from an hydraulic CitroŽn, you'd probably want an LHM odour, just to remind that you probably still have a small leak unfixed, somewhere on the car...

Slough cars have a dispenser for scent of horsehair-kapok-leather-brakefluid-castoroil that never runs out.

Many of the PSA-era cars have a coolant dispenser built into the dash, with a reservoir under the bonnet to be replenished frequently. In combination with the optional LHM dispenser / odour unit, you can have a truly decadent aromatic experience.

I love the smell of LHM in the morning. Is this wrong?

Calling it sarcasm makes it sound negative and put-downy. I would suggest gentle humour. I have become so used to the smells of old Citroens that the idea that a new one is so smell-less as to need a scent dispenser is worth a chuckle.

Seriously I actually like the smell of LHM. Weird? Probably, I don't snort it but I like it!
