    Default Another CX question, Sorry....

When I was doing the tappets I noticed that the suspension strut and sphere where moving around while I was turning the wheel. I had a look at the parts manual and, it seems that they are supposed to be held in place with some sort of spring clip (just a spring clip!!!). Can somebody let me know if this is correct and, if so, where I might find one?

    thanks

so the sphere goes up and down with the suspension strut? What I meant was, the strut and sphere were moving up and down - about a 1 inch play

The cylinder will be free to move in its housing when the hydraulic system is depressurised. There is a spring clip that prevents any turning of the cylinder so as not to strain the pressure supply pipe!
    addo and UFO like this.
