just checking gumtree out and a person in SA has a bonnet listed for $425 and rear bumper for $100. There is a grill there too. Check out. About page 16-19 or thereabouts. They look good. Chris M

    A DS grille. Interesting...

A CX actually as the DS did not have a grille.

I am pretty sure it said grille, but am a bit ignorant with DS.

Great parts though and really cheap I think. Chris

The ads do list a grille - incorrectly for a D. It's early CX I think. Not your mistake.

Regardless, not a big deal. The news is 425.00 for a 3rd nose hood in good condition is a score. Check carefully for cracks at the very front and at the reinforcements.

By the way, Craig- 8000 posts! Woot!

This will be 8000 now, but in pre crash I think I was around 14k - not that it matters.

And that included at least one trip OS, Europe of course, and moving house....not to mention restoration of the pipe organ and that horrid four letter word WORK. Craig you are a true Frogger, what ever the Hell that means!

To be fair, my count now includes the "re starting" point from the recovery post crash. So it wouldn't be as high as harrison estimates. However, bluey, that would be five trips to Europe, three to NZ and a few around Aus. This time in 5 weeks we'll be somewhere above the Pacific heading to the USA and beyond. Even a Citroen catch up while we're in Chicago.

These days with far better net access than the early trips I should have more frequent updates too.

Sorry I lost track of the frequent flying, I can't remember the last time I actually took a flight (Not joking!).
When in Chicago are your going to replicate any part of the 'Blues Brothers' car chase, friends of mine have and a fair bit is possible.

Well I suppose when we pick up the Lincoln VTS (or whatever it is) to drive to Indianapolis, we'll have some "power" available....

That right there is a damning indictment of just how similar anything on 4 wheels has become....

(Full disclosure- dad owns a Lincoln MKZ. Cloyingly ridiculous name, but there it is.)
