Default Berlingo Towbar (Old Body Shape) Pricing

Q: Does $250 sound fair for a new one, with no wiring? They don't seem at all common on vans in use.

I can't imagine many wreckers would bother removing one for you for a lot less. A private owner parting one out might. It probably doesn't need the relay box that some of the C5 models need. I've fitted one to an early C5 without the relay box and it's not caused any problems. A lot of C5 owners omitted the electrics because they only ever wanted it as a bike rack mounting point.
