Default So, what are they and who can use them?

I don't know what these are for. Any ideas? Any need for them?

The commutator is Ducellier and marked 618331. The box is tagged 2C 5 451 675 M, but I can't be sure it's the correct box for the part. I suspect Ami, therefore possibly also 2cv.

I think the top left square light cover is for a Safari?
The centre 'B' pillar light covers early D?

That's the same cigarette lighter as the DecidedlySpecial.. The two oblong light covers look like the one we fitted in Richo's FrankenD.. the B pillar light.

OK, so I'd better retain the top centre covers and the cigarette lighter for now. The others are up for grabs is needed.

Also on offer for the cost of postage are what I assume is a NOS GS front plate holder #GX 70 122 01A, a NOS bumper corner marked GX-D and a Paris Rhone starter solenoid in a box marked 770102316. The solenoid is stamped CED458. I also have a reasonable used pair of GS headlamps (SEV-Marchal Amplilux with secondary reflector inside), but postage could be a hassle being glass.

p.s. Forgot this GS exhaust part. Suits 1971-85 per the sticker. New with minor surface rust.

For the Safari fans ... when did the knobbly rear lamp lose the knobbly bits? See the differences here?

I have an assortment of these, some NOS, some used, red and orange, but no Safari. Who needs a couple of spares?

They were on the IH trucks of the early '60s, so I'd presume Lucas.

The Lucas parts used on the Slough DS/ID are about 50% larger in diameter compared with these parts and also plastic.
Those clear Lucas parker lamps are easy enough to find as NOS or used, but they are generally glass, not plastic like these Safari parts. I would guess IH used clear glass.

So, the exhaust part, bumper corner and number plate holder for the GS are spoken for. The others items are still available.

Plus a few more items I'm not 100% sure of, but assume are GS:

So, what are they and who can use them?-gscarb.jpg So, what are they and who can use them?-gs_boot.jpg So, what are they and who can use them?-gs_caliper.jpg So, what are they and who can use them?-gs_rearcalpistons.jpg

The diaphragm in the carby part seems OK and it's marked 'Late GS', if that helps. I'm fairly sure the others are a pump boot, rear caliper and rear caliper pistons. All are NOS except the carby part, which is used.

If it doesn't appear greedy we'd be happy to account for the other GS items.. will leave this to you.

David that diaphragm capsule looks to me like it also suits the CX carby. May I please have it?

Could be a CX caliper I suppose. The pistons are tiny. I can understand why it was never needed!

The boot is #5431101, which I've not looked up. 35mm ID. 11mm ID in the port. GS I'd thought???

The capsule is yours Gerry. pm an address please. I'll see if I can find a few early CX items. Have you obtained all the parts for your engine rebuild?

John, the other items are yours if you think you can use them, but someone else might want the second boot, assuming it is for a GS.

I can't identify this. It's a domed glass indicator lens 60mm in diameter and marked CARELLO 11.380.706.
Anyone recognise it or know it's correct application?

So, what are they and who can use them?-carellolens.jpg
