I am acquainted with this one. A Jerry Hathaway car, and worth every damn penny.

BAT is always an interesting read, but later comments often show up the great cesspit of popular opinion...

The restorers must have a wet blasting cabinet; nothing else seems to get quite that finish.

    Default A cheap find ?? :)

    Hi
I always thought Bring a Trailer was for Barn finds, rally cars, and needles in the haystackÖ
At $75K here I seem to be mistaken or is it a needle---

Well, I do know of an SM out at Area 52 at rather a lot less money, but that one needs just a wee bit of spit and polish....

Oh if only I had a spare $75k floating around... that is a stunning restoration.

BAT varies in budget; they recently featured a partly restored RR/Bentley project where the asking was $25K.

Jerry replied to the thread at BaT, he's taken a deposit today for the car and it's headed to Virginia. He has another one in the queue, priced at $98K, details to follow.

Having Euro (or early Canadian) spec headlights certainly pushes the dollar value up in the US. Prices in recent years have climbed up in the European market with nothing worth taking home without endless headaches for under $40k.

The fact that Jerry himself is selling it is a solid assurance that the car's going to be reliable for years to come.

Years ago, a Regembeau SM's were going for that money; now it's Jerry's turn

That is a nice looking car. I am sure the new owner (sold already) will enjoy it.
Good SM's are getting snapped up, get one while you can!!!
