    Default Small Hubcaps for ID-19

    Hi All,
Firstly -are all ID, DS, D Special etc wheels created the same?
Obviously not the early single fixing wheels, but the ones fitted say from 1968 onward?
I have the full hubcaps and I want to fit the small type to a 69 model as per the picture below.

Secondly any tips on sourcing a set would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers

The wheels you'll need will have 2 holes punched in them near the outer edge of the cap. That's for the attaching spring clip on the cap. Someone here- Daffy, or Citroenfan for instance- will have a better idea of what you need.

My understanding is that from the introduction of the DSpecial all non-Pallas cars for Australian Delivery were all fitted with the large non-Pallas type wheel trim. the smaller (not the smallest) type would be found on the pre 69 era cars only (in Aust).

If you haven't already, you should try connecting the Citroen Club NSW and put a classified advert up, and/or contact one of the club sponsors to see if there are any smaller specific D caps around.

For what its worth I have GSpecial hubcaps fitted to my D's. They look the virtually the same, are easy to come by and fit perfectly.

I've got some.. I'll have to dig them out.

    They're in good condition.

    Pm me if you're interested!

I've got a couple and happy to hand them on. I'm looking for 2 of the full diameter type, not the pointy Pallas shape if anyone has any to sell. PM me if interested.
