    Default BX misery continues

    OK fought the octopus and won. Good feeling, everything nice and clean, wash hands have the celebratory cold one and go to start the frog machine.
    Starts reluctantly will rev up to 3K and then slowly die. Repeat the process this time starts eventually can rev up to 2k and then dies. Does not want to start again. Since the thing is on ramps it has become an "oh shit!!" situation.
    Have tried the following:
    Pulled every connector that I could lay may hands on - electronic contact cleaner spray and reassemble.
    Tested the fuel supply - there is pressure in the line.
    Measured voltage at injector - about 0.3 V only. Seems LOW or non existent.
    Put timing light on one of the leads - there is a spark pulse.

    The car has injection only, ignition is by coil and distributor.
    Once again any suggestions welcomed.

    Does your K - ECU light go out when you start to crank the car? If not, it has probably stored a fault code. You should be able to read the fault code by using a wire to short the L line in the diagnostic connector to ground for 3 seconds and making the ECU light flash.
