    Hi Alain! Welcome to AussieFrogs.
Oh, yeah, I think all of us have at least a few miniatures around. Some are much more serious about collecting than others. I have a small case filled myself, plus some extras. Of course, a couple of Eiffel Towers to go with all that....

Please do continue your discussion. This is a subject I've not seen here before.

Are you aware of Ranwhenparked.net? Ronan Glon and Ian Strathmore. They have an occasional series about the miniatures Ronan buys.

I'll check your site in detail in a little bit. I've already bookmarked it.

    Cheers, and welcome aboard!
    Bill

    Bonjour Alain:

I am just starting to expand my Bugatti miniature collection by adding Citroen scale models (1:43rd / 1:18th scale) with the occasional Peugeot, Voisin (;and, of all things, Tatra models)

    Hello Stalled:

Have you checked out eBay lately ? There's an Otto Model BX listed as "Buy Now" @ 67.99 GBP ($112.20 U.S. / 129.10 AUD) Not cheap, but less than others listed.

    eBay Item Number
    111186930037
OTTO 1:18 1989 CITROEN BX 1.9 GTI 16V GREEN 1250 PCS OT550 NOREV KYOSHO AUTOART

It's out of the UK so shipping seems expensive (37.03 AUD)? Seems expensive even when converted to U.S.D.

    Hello,

It's true, miniatures Otto is expensive , furthermore I collect in the scale 1:43 thus I have no it.
But, the boss of Otto launched in 2013 a new brand to the 1:43 under the Matrix brand.

They are more accessible at the level of the prize .
These models are original versions of cars CitroŽn. They are revised by independent coachbuilders.

CX 25 Prestige, Erik Honecker's limousine, President of the DDR (Deutsche Demokratische Republik) driven by the Swedish Nilsson Rťf.: MX40304-061 in taken up resin, limited edition in 408 parts and numbered.

SM "Opera" 4 doors driven by Chapron in 1970 Ref.: MX10304-011 in taken up resin, limited edition to 492 copies.

    Hello PTIOTECARETE:
While new to collecting Citroen Models; I'm interested in collecting most of the detailed Citroen models from IXO, Minichamps, Norev, Kress(?) (with emphasis on CX, DS, SM, CX Loadrunner / Bagageres [Sp}). It's not that other Citroen models don't interest me; it's more of a priority based collecting. Too many wants vs. too little money. A problem in common with many people I understand.

Your post concerning "Matrix," I found most interesting. Particularly the Citroen SM Opera as I have not found that particular Citroen widely modeled by other manufacturers. The same can be said for the CX Nilsson DDR "Limo."
Thank you for that bit of information !

Still exploring your web site. The circus models are "brilliant."

Had a chance to go though one of my boxes at my parents home yesterday after about 15 years or so and came away with these.
If you know them all - well done. Of course you will know the Citroens but the others?
