    Default Forum Search

    I'm trying to do a search on the For Sale forum and nothing comes up. I've tried populating just about every box and keep getting this message:

    Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.

    Am I missing something, is it cookies?

    Cheers

    Just use Google.

    Type your search word, a space and then "site:www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/cars-sale-wanted/" at the end and it will search the For Sale forum exclusively.

    i.e.: "Citroen Ami site:www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/cars-sale-wanted/" in the search box.
    Regards,

    I just love the ..."and it will come up"...it should come up, perhaps the whole point of the enquiry is that it doesn't! Try turning the computer off and then turn it back on again.

    Simon - many thanks. Strange things are happening. Tried the Google trick as per your suggestion. Was looking for a GS post I put on the Parts for Sale forum and Google came up with lots of GS stuff but not my post.

    So, I went to Parts for Sale forum and in the 'search' box put
    "url=http://www.aussiefrogs.com/forum/parts-sale-wanted/]Parts For Sale / Wanted[/url"
    as per your Google suggestion and low and behold, my post came up.

    PS - Thanks for feedback Mr Zapper. I've been trying for months but keep giving up. SCL206's suggestion has dug me out of a hole but it is still an odd situation. Honestly, if I just type GS in the search box I get absolutely nothing

    BTW I'm after a rear left side window for a GS break, but am considering chasing a hatch window and customising (they are different)

    I like cookies. Ladyfingers, shortbread, vanilla wafer, oatmeal, peanut butter......

    How do you propose to modify for the sedan glass? I thought there was a pretty good taper to the rear compared to the wagon doors. Is yours broken, or is it just scratched to beat hell? If it's just scratched, irritating I know but I would just deal with it until I could source a better one. You might have a smidge better luck looking at a GSA. I think the roofline is slightly higher and more square to accommodate the hatchback design.
