    Default Tuning a DSuper5

Hello, I shall be taking my engine out for a new timing chain etc. I'd like to increase the power and torque, what are the simplest ways? Which is the more restrictive, the inlet or exhaust side? Is a 4 into 1 too much of a pain to have made? Better or bigger carb? I wish to stay with a carby. It already has 123 ignition.

    Any ideas?

Put a 2.3 motor in for a start - there's no replacement for displacement!

make it a 2.1 and flow the head, then fit aftermarket fuel injection

leave your youthful ideas behind you and accept it the way it is. After all it's what a lot of DSpecial owners dream of.

Deesse, you are probably right, change one thing and you always have to change seven others.

    Thanks for the advice
