    Default Advertising, advertising, advertising

Do we really have to have advertising plastered all over the forum. Now on every post by the look of it.

    I don't like it

    G'day,
if it helps to offset the costs, live with it.

I had to lift my content barriers just to see your post! But as has been said, some advertising pays the forum bills. As long as it stays unobtrusive I'll let it through, though I did have to make an exception in my filters to permit it. It isn't at all hard to remove or modify any aspect of the page if you hate it enough - it's only code.

I'm using the worlds least popular but best browser, Opera, and I don't get any ads with my posts.............
Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone............

I'm kinda wondering what the fuss is all about. I'm on my plain old PC running Vista and Google as a browser and nothing gets in the way, I see ads but nothing to complain about.

Kim we agree on something. I am using Opera (indeed the best and most configurable browser, at least for now before it gets Google-ised). My copy runs the full gamut of filters, as well as a great deal of user javascript and user css, so I had to make some changes to see some of the ads, simply because I don't want to shaft some of the advertisers. I've had to alter the site for the sake of readability as well, as my sight isn't what it used to be, as well as reduce the size of some elements. It's difficult to convince young web designers to drop the subtle greys when they're the height of fashion.
