Default Paint colours for 1975 DS23 EI

    Hi
toying with the idea of getting my DS resprayed. Currently Scarob Brun (or similar spelling) basically its brown with a white roof. Thinking of a blue colour. Looked at some colour charts which say "All Citroens except DS" so a bit confused. Would like to paint in a original colour.
    Cheers

    Go here...
Le nuancier, pictures of every Citroen DS ID colours colors

Look at the 1974 chart and everything is revealed.
Pick another year for another colour.
Not happy with that? Knock yourself out and explore the site, it's mindblowing.

You could certainly do worse than spend some time perusing the DS Appreciation Thread. Some great shots, mainly thanks to mnm . I've spotted my colour if the time comes!

In my opinion these days, brun scarabee is nice. I used to not like it. I also used to not like moustaches. These things come back in fashion and it is so mid 70's. If you lighten it up a little and combine it with a caramel interior it will look unreal. Check out the SM on the SM appreciation site a couple of pages in. The right interior colour will set it off nicely.
    cheers Tony
