there seems to be a lot of wind noise around the base of the drivers A pillar.

Is this a flaw from factory or is there a fix/remedy i can investigate with?

    thanks

That's a special feature to remind you that the car is moving - think of it as a bonus.

All the effort they put into solving the problem with the SM and they totally dropped the ball with the CX. My CX whistles as well as all the other wind noise. I would like to try cutting off the U tube either side of the windscreen and see if that makes any difference.

    Cheers,

I can't say I've noticed that. The noisiest thing on mine is the bloody mirrors... Gee's they make a racket If you get a cross wind though you can hear it trying to blow past the door seals.

i reckon our Citroens would look great without side mirrors - use rear view cameras instead, if it's legal?
    no mirror wind noise then.

The Series II CX has a plastic electric mirror with "fins" that I assume are just for looks. They are incredibly noisy though ....

That's a lovely looking car.... I must respray mine someday when I have the time and money.
