Had it on a unreg permit for a couple weeks to run it back and forth to a carwash (for it's future RWC of course) i have never seen such a dirty car before.

So it's parked up for a bit. Left indicator lens on the main estate has gone missing, so i'll pinch it from the manual one. Just ordered one from a place in Spain so i hope it arrives.

Say hi to your dad for me let him know we are having the bottle of wine on New Years Eve

There are at least 2, probably 3 BX in the states. Cool cars. Too bad we didn't get them here.

Far kennel! That's an expensive BX - although it is in fine condition with low distance.

Yah- that's our lot with seldom seen cars here. The premise of "OMG!!!11!! It's rare, so it just HAS to be worth a lot of money!!". Problem for that dealer is, it is so rare from a seldom seen, much less understood marque that it isn't likely they will see used Honda money for that. It's been on offer from that dealer for a couple of months now. Once reality sets in, they'll get the hint and knock a fair amount off that 10K.

Gotta admit- that is one crisp looking car. I hope for the buyer it's as nice as it looks.

If it weren't 2600 miles away, my idea would be to roll up in a freshly valeted Mercedes 300TE. Just looking, of course.

Oh, and Daffy, aren't you afraid that doing the Daffyduck dance is going to do more damage to that knee of yours?

No chance of doing the dance. I have a wheelchair and am trying to teach my leg how it used to work.

There is a red BX in the San Francisco area. It is part of a nice collection of French cars. At least it was. I think it may have sold 2 years ago for about $7000 US. I think we talked about it on this site too.

I know about the wheelchair, dude. I'm just trying to toss you under the bus. After having just watched "The Road Warrior" for the 37th time, I now have an approximate idea of what that looks like.

I don't think that BX was that long ago. I know it's been on eBay twice. IIRC, he also has/had a Simca 1204 in nice shape up for sale.

To be fair, that is a very tidy BX and probably the most "collectable" of the model. The first series of car were much more idiosyncratic and the GT top of the range. That one looks museum quality.

There was an interesting comment this last week on the British BX site ( www.bxclub.co.uk ) from a member who said they were buying a Xantia because "BX's have started to creep out of my current price range".
