    Default GS tyre availability.

Hi all, I know this is an old question but does anybody know where I can obtain tyres for my GS. No-one in South Australia can give me any info, and the response I get is they are Michelin which are no longer available. I can obtain a set from UK at a landed and delivered price of approx. $1500 for a set but am looking for a interim cheaper solution. thanks in advance for any help.

I bought a set of Nankang 145x15 recently for my yellow Pallas and they were <$150 ea from memory. Here's one source, but in reality, all major tyre fitters should have Nankang on their books.

    Try these guys:

One of the members here just imported four 400mm DS tires for about $1100 through them (incredibly cheap for a metric sized tire).

They might have an excellent "postage" deal going again.

What an arrogant arse of a response from the retailer. Name and shame!
