Someone sure did give that a hard whack with the ugly stick. I dunno how Chapron can make something as nice looking as the convertible, yet something as ugly as these

Well, since you're saying it, yes, it's damn ugly! I just didn't want to offend you Citroen folk and thought some of you may appreciate it, some how ....

Well Shane, if everybody judged everybody else on the way we looked. We'd all still be virgins.

All of Classic Citroen are ugly. That is why I like it. I don`t get bored! I do`nt mind that one though! But so many switches!!!

I saw one in Paris at the 50th anniversary in dark metallic grey and it looked magnificent, if someone said have this get it out of sight its ugly I'd be round the next block before they could scratch their Rse!

Some of the Chapron reworks are ugly stick quality which is why some only had fewer than 10 built perhaps.

I think Bertoni threatened to send the Mafia after him if he didn't stick to the Citroen factory brief.

This is a rare case of where the Corgi Toy model actually looks better than the real life car!

    here are a few more.

I suppose once you have spent your money on this you can only afford to live in a house like this

this one was probably victim of an uneducated tilt tray operater somewhere in Australia.

    a bit stumpy perhaps

both of these lack elegance and look a bit disturbed IMHO

    love the fats

this one looks like it suffered at the hands of an unsympathetic panel beater after a minor shunt

this makes Chapron look like the maestro that he was

    another wierdo

    another shorty.

I will keep looking for others

    cheers Tony

The battered one in the above photo is the result of a wife finding out about the husbands affair and taking a hammer to his prized DS apparently!
