    Hi Brian
The 100% reliable way to get the correct number is to access the Citroen web site, give it your VIN, and look at the relevent parts diagram. If you do not know how to do this, then send me your VIN and I will do it for you.

    Hi Brian
The results of my search using your vin.
    CitroŽn Service
    VF7DCRFNF76332802
    C5 5 DOOR SALOON 2.0 i 16v 138 4-SPEED AUTOMATIC GEARBOX
    Front door lock
    9135 J2 LEFT

    9136 K1 RIGHT
    Rear door lock
    9137 85 Left
    9138 A3 Right
These should be the latest numbers if they have been substituted or changed.
I think there is a description of registering on the site. It is very clunky to navigate but I manage.
If you order from O/S always give your Vin as the suppliers also use the site to check.
As you can see the number is the same as the one quoted to you .

    Hi Brian
My Pleasure. I will try to do a new registration on the Citroen service site and describe how to. Unless others would like to ! It is not so friendly to use but OK. I also use the Peugeot site to check the part numbers occasionally on the similar models.

I have ordered parts from a Sydney dealer quoting the part numbers and descriptions. Been OK. Sometimes the part descriptions are very obtuse. EG hog rings ??? Some sort of common fastner.

Addo created one for the Peugeot site here

Apart from the address being different for the CitroŽn site, it's pretty similar.

    Hi
Thanks SLC206, I knew there was some information here somewhere. Use this information Addo has prepared and give it a go. Register for both sites you never know, its free.

Some comments are; use the identity and the password sent back EXACTLY as given, capitals numbers etc.

The car information and the spare part information are free. However you may be tested to find the actual parts you require because of the ODD way it is referenced. Just keep looking under odd catagories and you may find things you never knew existed Use your imagination for the description of the parts. They use some very odd names for things you thought you knew well. However there are always the diagrams to look at.

You can also access workshop procedure information too, I understand, but that is charged for by the hour ! That information is also ODD and patchy. Sometimes lots of pages sometimes a few. It is the same stuff the dealers get.

    Give it a go
