    Default Xantia electric problem

My '96 Xantia series 1 VSX 5 speed has been exhibiting a intermittent electrical problem where the radio cuts out in time with the blinkers when using the brakes. It periodically cures itself for no apparent reason. I have unplugged & reconnected every connection I can find under the bonnet & checked all fuses without success.
Tonight on my way home from work I realised the problem was not there, but also the car was running better than earlier in the day, with better & smoother throttle response. The suspension also seemed to be riding softer too.
So I am thinking there is a poor earth connection somewhere [ hopefully not behind the dashboard ] that I need to check.
Can anyone advise me where all the major earth connections are please so I can see if I have missed any.
If behind the dashboard, are they accessible with out it's removal ?

    Cheers, Richard

Agree with your diagnosis. Sorry don't know answer but will be very interested to see it when someone responds.

    Good luck.

    Had you changed radio channels?
