    Default Why Citroen book

    Has anyone seen this book.

It is quite eccentric and very interesting, written in the late 70's by a guy who is clearly passionate about the marque, particularly D's and Sm's. It has a strong technical bent with lots of theory, explanations and diagrams. It covers buying, repairing, speed limits, the hydraulic system, tyres, chassis dynamics, rust repairs using aeronautical riveting techniques and other things. It has given me an interest in working on my car.
Below is one of the eccentric diagrams.

The first book I borrowed from the CCCNSW library after I bought my first CX in 1993. Now that I am the librarian I know we have 3 copies of that book. Love the pages on Michelin X, and why it is the perfect tyre.

No I don't have one, but I've been buying and selling books for years, I couldn't help myself.
