Default Clutch adjustment on a xsara??

Is it possible to adjust the clutch on a 2002 Xsara 1.6?My clutch only engages in about the last 2" of travel in the pedal. Takes a bit of getting used to!

    Hi Monts,

I think the cable of these is reputed to be self adjusting. I havn't got any further than this and the one in our family has been sold on. I think they are probably all like that.

    Cheers,

That's fairly normal for a French car mate.
You will have to get used to it I think.
My Scenic has a new clutch and it is similar.
Yeah, I also think they are self adjusting.
