    Default C5 hydraulic pump power

Anyone know the max current draw for the electric hydraulic pump on a C5?

The pump fuse, number 8 at right is 40 Amps, so say about 20A continuous.

Thanks, that will help me, intending to use it in an electric car conversion.

    Kind regards

I suppose it could even be an elegant solution to pumping up a dead D with a bit of thought applied to how to hook it up to the car.

    No problems, it's all free.

The motor does have a duty cycle or something to prevent it from getting hot in continuous operation, so will need watching.

Best wishes, and enjoy a good fiddle.
