    Default Dead DS in Kyneton

    Is there someone in trouble?

There a white D special with S.A. plates sitting in the main street of Kyneton with what appears (through the mud and grease) to be LHM running down the gutter.

It was there Wednesday arvo and still there this morning. Its parked away from the shops or houses like its not there deliberatley, it looks like it stopped there rather than parked there.

If anyone ownes it or knows of it and are in trouble give us a yell, we might be able to help.

I've noticed this DS, driven by a woman, around Castlemaine the past few months,
maybe leaving a note under the wiper could reassure its owner that help may be at hand.

There is too. I don't get any Cit news so I didn't know.
This is to bigger op to pass up,

Ozfroggers are having a run to Dalesford and PCCV are having a run to Kyneton. PCCV are meeting in Woodend at 10.30 at Holgate Brewery and going to Trentham for lunch. If we can organise for everyone to get togeather it would be a great photo op.

Nah its white and looking unrestored, very original, broken drivers mirror, dents and scrapes all over it. Sort of thing that 20 years ago would have been dumped at our front door unwanted.

The D Special from Castlemaine is the car that was Broken Down in Kynton. A woman owns it here, who has moved from SA a few months back. She uses it as a daily driver "kids and all". I've only met her once when she asked me if I could help her replace a front bumper bar.
On seeing this thread this morning, I rang her to see if she and the car were OK. The car was towed to an auto repairer ( Peter "somebody") who has done some work on Citroens. He has repaired the leaking hose and is waiting for the arrival of some LHM. When the D Special arrives back in Castlemaine she'll give me a ring.
By the way Kazu, I have reconditioned both my rear brake "Swivel Joints" with new O'Rings. Thanks for your detailed photos and Help!

Peter somebody? Is he in Kyneton? Don't know him, I know most of the mechanics and the only one I'd trust with anything French is Bernie McClure.

Please, please tell me it didn't go to Skiptons the local RACV depot, the poor lady really will be in trouble if it went there.
