The kids don't notice the Poogoe. They are in Noddy's car, how cool it that?

Do you like the new seat covers just fitted? They dress is up enormously. The bonus is a full seat cover set cost about as much as one DS door trim

This seat material was in the original 2CV Charlestons. I have a full set of the same Chickenfeet/Houndstooth (Fr/En) seat covers that Viking procured for me from Club Cassis in France. He also managed to get a metre of the material so I can make my own covers for the headrests.

Sourcing 2CV seatcovers from Germany (Der Fransoze) usually includes headrest covers as well as headrests were mandatory for German 2CVs. The French never had them and therefore never supply headrest covers. The headrests were genuine Citroen made for the German market. I had them specially ordered in the UK in 1993 for both the ducks I imported to Australia.

I have yet to fit my covers. Waiting for the urge to pull the seats apart, replaced the canvas seat and backrest, clip the 50 rubber bands to the seat frame, glue on some 1cm foam over the lot and then cover with the seat covers. One day....

    John
