Should read some of the comments that the usual YouTube imbecile trolls make, such as hydrological failure, and if the hydraulics fail, you're pretty much screwed. Ignorance and stupidity are the new YouTube mantra for the cretins that post comments.

The comments on You Tube videos are rarely worth reading!

It was nice that Motor Trend actually made the right decision at the end.

Motor Trend did a great job, some fabulous footage in beautiful countryside and an unbiased commentary.

The DS was afforded reverence and respect, brought back very pleasant thoughts of driving Roger Wilkinsons 1959.
A privilege extended by Roger to me on more than one occasion, for which I am most grateful.
    BVH is best.

    cheers,

I still think that the original single headlight model would have been better in that video, rather than the last of the line. That is what they did in the Tesla comparison. There is a purity of design in the single headlight D and it was that model that received 12,000 orders (or whatever) at the Paris Motor Show. It was that model that started the legend and is the best to use when retelling the story.

In a similar fashion, any show on the Spitfire legend should concentrate on the Mk V (most built, Battle of Britain) or earlier, not he Mk IX or later models.
