so what started as a sound like a belt squealing about a week ago has led to the clutch giving in this morning

so after spending the night trying to find a good deal have contacted a family friend in the uk who owns a parts shop and have managed to pick up a clutch for 55 quid and a new clutch cable for a 10er. postage will be about 100 pounds for the speedy delivery all up will cost about $250 after exchange rate. best offer i had here was $450 before postage

todays jobs is remove every thing in the way of the gear box
at least there is less stuff to remove than when i have to remove the gear box on the bx

    photos to follow

UFO was only mentioning the other day how he was wanting to tinker with some cars. Why don't you stick it in his shed where the DS is parked and get him to fix it for you Get him to replace the rear main and cambelt while there's easy access

Don't worry Shane, it's in the other half of the garage. He's done OK today.
