I thought Magna when I first saw it. The panel above the headlights also looks like it's from a Magna.

It wasn't just the front end that was defiled, here's a rear view of the same car...

I have to say if you are going to bugger up a perfectly good CX, you may aswell use Citroen parts...

    Much better....

I think the back end actually suits the 3/4 rear view. Looks very late 80's, early 90's. Just a shame they butchered a CX.

Why would you replace the perfectly good headlights (actually the best in our fleet) with something like that. There is form and function, that has none.

Sorry, my strong opinion is, if you are going to alter a CX, then the XM front is acceptable, but for the rear, then this is a betteer way to go.

At least it makes the CX more useable!

I would love to place this picture in the CX wagon restoration thread as a final photo...... but no this is just another modification from the same set of photos. I would drive it every day

Here's my version of a CX Nosejob. Hopefully not considered sacrilegious.

I think if you want the modern plastic look rather than the original.... The best of the lot obviously being classic lines with proper stainless bumpers..... Then what is wrong with the "standard" series II plastic look

Looks ok to my eyes.... though the nose does look to big and chunky for the car ...

Both S1 and S2 look fab, just in a different way. IMHO the S2 needs to be in a nice and shiny condition to look good whereas S1 however rough it is will always look good. Bit ID in that sense (I reckon they look better when battered).
