Default C3 pluriel airbag light - seat sensor?

    Hey everyone.

Went for a large drive in the pluriel yesterday. (500+Kms) handled it amazingly!

One issue has popped up though, this morning I moved the drivers seat backwards. Was getting a bit uncomfortable yesterday.
Since doing this, the airbag light is solid on the dash.

I've googled and it appears that there might be a seat sensor that has come loose.

Can anyone confirm this from previous experience? Is it a simple click back in or is it a solder job?

    Thanks .

Series 2 Xsaras have the problem too. Hopefully the connector under the seat to the pretensioner has separated. Put the seat fully forward and attack from behind with torch and contortions. If it is not separated already, unclip the connector, give it a spray with some contact cleaner, put it back together and hope for the best. On our Xsaras, it continued to be a recurring problem even after I soldered the connector together. I think the wire gauge is marginally small and trips up the resistance test the system performs on power up .

    Cheers,

    Ken W

    Hi Ken,

    Thanks for that info.
Is it the green connector that I'm looking for?

Disregard. Pushed the blue one and the green one and the light went off.
