While this is not a complete answer the CCCNSW sales ledgers show a car one number out from yours 19313467 as sold on 27/4/1962 for £1672.9.0

I thought 222 was one of the blacks.

No source-date codes on any of the electrics?

    Hi Balki,
It looks like it is either late 1961 or early 1962. Depends on how quickly they were moving (sales) at the time. There are no known production records linking the cars to a production date (as far as I have heard).
The year it not so important as the exact set of components on the car. Many bits changed over time and the production line seemed to have a fair bit of freedom with fine details.
Mine is nominally a 1966 model and known as such in Citroen circles, but some respected people tell me it is far more likely to be produced in 1965. Not something to get hung up about (in my opinion anyway).
More to the point - do you own it? Can we see some pictures?
    Cheers,

Interesting point addo. My "lets call it A 1966 car" has two horns (low and high tones I believe). Took them off to clean them up, one is stamped with 4/64 and the other 1/65. I imagine they came out of a large parts bin ex France. They would probably (if you ae lucky) just put a floor on the earliest date it could be. Shipping would have taken up to a couple of months in those days is another factor.

I believe Angora White code 4318 was only used in the production years 1961 - 1963 inclusive.

I would have thought what I wrote would give you an idea on year. All cars starting with a 19313 engine number are 1962 cars in the sales ledger. 1961 cars have a different number set.

Can't you pay a fee to the Conservetoire and they give you a certificate of date made?

Pictures of the car will help. There are variations on the dash that can sometimes give a better idea.

First post on the forum, although i've been reading for a while. Bought my DS around two months although i've been on the forum for longer.

Does the club have records of cars sold in NSW/Australia? I bought 4644910 a month or so back so would be interested in finding out more if the club has old records.

With a full set of panels, painted cream all over, & fill in the big hole in the dash, it will look just like the car I learnt to drive in! I'm even Tassy born & bred.

caparobertsan, is your speedo surround missing or just needing repair? It's only fibreglass, so you should be able to repair a damaged part with a little effort.
