Default Desperately seeking O Rings for C5 V6

Hello C5 lovers (although its more like love / hate for me right now!)

My mechanics at Riversdale have done a deep dive and discovered some dead O rings need replacement (after a massive leak from the power streering / rack end)

    Part numbers:

    Small 400636
    large 400638

Can anyone help with sourcing these? I have a dismatled chariot in Surrey Hills (Melbourne) waiting for these parts and cant get our hands on any.

Any suggestions anyone? Would welcome any help

The '36s are available ex UK for bugger-all. In a hurry, consider an hydraulic oil proof o-ring.

Have you not simply tried a Citroen or Peugeot dealer? They are not likely to be unique to the C5 as PSA tend often use that sort of thing from the parts bin. The parts diagrams usually also have dimensions, so as a last resort match something up.

Sometimes, you can search on the part number without filtering across all models and find it listed in another fiche in a slightly different way. Sometimes, you get the detail listed for one model but not another. I'd just try a Citroen/Pug dealer for these if the plan is to save a few dollars. You get the right spec and saves spending half a day searching everywhere. If they are not available, that's another story of course.

BSC came through - thank you UFO. Also a German dealership called HC Automotive had them via a great online portal.
So far so good.. now if we can stop the steering fluid from pouring out, I'll be happy!!

Glad to know I helped. Maybe this thread will help others one day by providing a similar solution.

    Good luck with your quest.
