    Default DS Headlights

Hello, I've followed the advice on AF and bought the pre-wired headlamp loom with relays from Thailand. Now I want to change the horrible bulb holders for the 'normal' three pin affair.
I'm convinced I read on AF about cutting the mounting rim off the old lamp and sticking it to a modern bowl but I'm damned if I can find it. Can someone put me out of my misery (before the wife does!)?

That's the gist of it. You need the mounts from the original lamps.
The new lamps will fit inside the old reflectors with the removal of material at the bulb mounting base, then a Sikaflex Adhesive or even an epoxy will do the trick.
Centre the reflectors as well as possible.

There have been more detailed instructions in the past. someone with search skills will be able to find them. Not my area of expertise.
    Hope this helps.

As Richo outlined, or you can buy Cibie reproductions here in Aus - these are plug and play

    "Déesse" Roland Barthes, 'Mythologies', 1957

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.
