Default White mark on NOS rubber sleeves - LHM Compatable...?

I'm just replacing all the rubber return hoses on the 69 - and under the ligarex at each end is a protective rubber sleeve which stops the ligarex from cutting into the pipe.

I have what looks like some of these in some genuine packaging - with broad white markings on them.

Are these LHM compatable...? They are only sleeves not the pipe itself and they look perfect for the job.

Just don't want to use them if they are incorrect. IIRC I though rubber components with white markings were compatible with both LHS and LHM...?

No part numbers on the packs by the way....

    Many thanks in advance,

    Mark...

The white band denotes the hose/o-ring is compatible with either LHS2 or LHM fluid.

When I purchased a couple of suspension boots a few years ago from DS Motors, I was told that the white mark that was on them meant they were compatable with either LHM and LHS.
The broard white mark probably does signify that it can be used for either LHM or LHS but as you say, it is only a protective sleeve that has no contact with either fluid so I, personally would have no problem using it. Michael

    Red or unmarked lhs2 only
    Green lhm only
White suitable for both or you have birds nesting in the garage.
