Default My C5 starts shaking slightly between the speeds of 50 - 70km,

I have this lovely C5 Diesel Turbo and suddenly the car started to shake between 50 and 70 km.
I hasd the tyres balanced, checked for any physical wear on the suspension and steering linkages.
I phone a Citroen Mechanic in sydney as I could not get any sense from someone here oin Brisbane, and the comment was that it could be the Hydro Suspension is out of alignment and this puts a different angle on the drive shafts, or if the engine mount is colapsed it would also put a different angle on the drive shafts. I took it then to Brisbane to a Citroen Dealer and the Service people told me it is the Drive shaft and nothing else.
I found this hard to belief as the wobble is not here below 50 and not here above 70, as a matter of fact it does not happen when I start driving first thing in the morning, it starts to happen after aprox 15 to 20 km distance.
That tells me that the car miss aligns itself. but I could be wrong.
Is there anybody out there who either had this problem or knows about it or knows a good Citroen Mechanic.
    Your help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

Does it shake worse under load?
I have a 2006 C5 HDi that was shaking badly especially under load.

It turned out the top engine mount and the passenger side inner CV joint were both the culprits.

Both are common faults on 2006 models apparently.

Is the problem engine RPM related rather than just road speed related???

This does sound more like an engine mount.

Which model? Some of the earlier 2.0 HDi 6 speed experienced your symptom due to a driveshaft problem, so that dealer is probably pointing you in the right direction. A cup could sometimes fall out in the inner joint and become crushed, so you could investigate that. More generally, C5 engine mounts eventually sag and sometimes shear off the stud and then the drivetrain can 'walk', so that's worth a look. The stabiliser bushes don't last forever either, especially if LDS ha been leaking all over the place. Which reminds me that the lower control arm / wishbone bushes should be checked and that LDS sometimes gets to them and makes them soggy.
