Icon10 Peugeot 604 Free to any home!!

    G'day Guys,

Basically my 1981 604 SL is going to the wreckers in the next couple of weeks after I finish getting all the bits off it that I want. So if anyone wants the rest of the car or any other bits off it, you're more than welcome to come and strip it.

    Condition is as follows:

    Missing:
Engine, gearbox, rear subframe and suspension, electric window winders, a couple of door handles, a couple of switches, diff, and a couple of wheels.

Body very straight, minimal rust, all glass perfect, leather interior worn but carpet and dashboard perfect, all lights present and accounted for, good condition, air conditioner works a treat but compressor may not be avaliable, car is sitting on 504 front end and might get a 504 rear end to make it rollable again.

Catch is, you have to take it off the car yourself, with your own tools.

Call me on 0429 334494 if you would like anything. Car is located in Modbury, Adelaide.

yes and the 604 will be going to a good home
colin, did you get my email the other day ?

i have toyed with the idea of putting an Mi-16 engine into a 403 for a few years now and it will fit
my plans have been to put the engine into a 403 wagon with a small jap 5spd box with a 504/505 sedan rear end
so i would say if the engine will fit into a 403 bay it should easily go into a 203 bay as the 203 has more room to play with
i'd be very interested in seeing pics of the 504 Mi-16 as you went through it through to the finished product
the Mi-16 engine in standard form in a 504 would be nice but imagine if you put a little work into it as well
i'd leave the Mi engine standard for a 403 wagon as i think 150hp would be enough to motor it along
