Gday, do you have any pictures? I sent you an email. What does the custom interior involve?

I have now reduced the car to $5,500.(No offers)
This car is mechanically sound, body is almost perfect, interior well above average for 205, usual things like Glovebox broken (Closed luckily.) Demand in Adelaide is a bit slow,
i can arrange delivery to Melbourne for $150, to Sydney for $360 (You should be able to get a cheaper quote from a sydney based transport company)

    BUMP

Just thought i would advertise this little Gem one more time...

If i haven't sold it by September 1, i will do it up. Nice wheels, suspension ect ect.

It's actually a really good car, i would rather do up a series 1 1/2 with the BE3 box, so if i can get a crazy $5,500 for this then cool.
Otherwise i'll use this 205 as a platform for a BEAST!!!

Call me on 0411 554 262 if you have any queries.

    Cheers

    Hi Adrian,

I've been keeping my eye on that one for a little while. I'm not exactly looking for a new car just yet- was thinking more maybe at the end of the year. But in saying that, it could be what I'm after. I just have a few questions if you don't mind answering them :-

I'm not really that up to speed on 205's. Just wondering what engine this particular one is running? Is it the XU9JA (130 HP)? Or is it something else?

Also, does the car come with a complete service record? Is there any rust/body damage?

Do you see the car travelling another 50K no worries (on the current engine, transmission)?

Sorry about all the questions- better to be thorough I suppose.

    Thanks,

    Warwick peugeot_

I don't see a problem with getting another 50,000k from it, because it's only got 170,000km's on it know so i'm sure there are 205's going with 230,000km's on them

It is the early 205, with the 130HP motor, and BE1 gearbox..

    Cheers

    Hi,

Thanks for the PM and quick reply.

I hope I haven't wasted your time, but I'd prefer a car with a service history. I'm not quite in the position to buy just yet anyway, but I will certainly keep it in the front of my mind if you haven't unloaded it by the time I'm looking to buy (in the next month or two).

    Cheers

    lol,
a guy looked at my 205 then paid $2,000 more for a 205 with service history, otherwise he would have bought mine.

1 week later he needed a new motor...

But luckily his car had service history roll_lau roll_lau

It's advertised in the trading post, and i reckon it'll go in the next couple of weeks, but good luck GTI hunting

    Don't rely on service histories....

    Cheers

Pugsly, the RRP is $750 however we got it significantly cheaper because it was old stock...
Will post a write-up and hopefully a recording of it when it's going.

    T'was $495 from Cant_get_enough_of_peugeots (Adrian, aka PugSport).

Sadly, it was the last one available at that price and I'm unsure as to if they are even producing any more.

    Good luck.
