    505 Wagon wanted

505 Wagon wanted by budding frogger.

Preferably good condition inside and out, and manual, but will look at most things within travelling distance.

Only the later GTi wagons came with a manual, so unless you find one of them, you might need to do a conversion. I have a friend who has a 505SR wagon converted to manual, although I think it was written off late last year .

Many thanks for all the replies. There are a couple that I'm going to have a look at and I'm looking forward to coming away with one.

an Auto GTI wagon went for auction at Pickles today, it looked ok, just a small bingle at the front, and missing rear bar, i think it sold for about $2000-$2500

PS: I spoke Geoff Metzeler(sp?) in Bega about his 505 wagon mentioned by Wouter above.

It's done about 340,000km, '84 model, well serviced, rings and bearings and liners done about 10k ago, metallic blue which has been partly resprayed where the sun has got to it, good interior.

It sounds like a good deal at $4500. I just wasn't able to get down to see it in time.
